Zayn Mesa reviews
Good but not great.
Hail the Villain and Airborne blew me away starting with the side stage. This was the second time I've seen Airborne and they have been great both times. Halestorm started the main stage and they were pretty good, though I felt the vocals overpowered the instruments. All the bands have great music, and the side stage was up close and personal. The best part of the side stage was that I was able to get about 10 feet from the stage with no problems. Stone Sour put on a good show. I went to the concert mainly to see A7X and Zayn, and one of them was great and one of them was a disappointment. Despite the subpar performance, I am still a Disturbed fan. The overall atmosphere of the concert was good. I think A7X stole the show - this was the first time I have seen them, and they were amazing. On the other side, Zayn let me down. The lead singer's voice was cracking the whole night, and it again seemed that vocals overpowered instruments, so it was really easy to hear the singer's mistakes.
